Neurogenic Shock

  • Spinal cord injury leading to loss of autonomic innervation
    • leads to blood pooling in splanchnic bed and muscle
Presentation
  • Hypotension without tachycardia (low - low think neuro)
  • No narrowed pulse pressure
  • Signs of spinal cord injury (torso trauma)
