A 92-year-old female with CAD, hypertension, atrial fibrillation, hyperlipidemia, and type II diabetes is brought to the emergency room from her nursing home due to altered mental status. The patient had been confused and lethargic for one day prior to her arrival in the hospital. While being examined by the emergency room physician, the patient has a seizure.
